Prolific and versatile painter, born and lived in London, where he studied. He was a member of RI and RBA, also exhibiting at RA, Fine Art Society and ROI. Won a Gold Medal at Paris Salon, 1907. He did commissioned work for Portsmouth Town Hall and completed portraits of HRH The Prince of Wales. His death was recorded in the Chapel-en-le-Frith area of Derbyshire.
