Painter and teacher, born in Dolgellau, Merionethshire. He attended Liverpool College of Art, 1962–6, then Royal College of Art, 1966–9, going on to teach at St Helens School of Art. Completed a mural for George Rowney & Company in Bracknell as well as decorative work for the London store Harrods. Showed at WAC Celtic Triangle show in 1970, the 1974 An Iconograph of the Mabinogion exhibition of Royal National Eisteddfod/WAC, SWG and RA. Won Merseyside People and Places first prize in 1965 and several Manchester Academy open awards in 1970s and in 1986–7 was included in Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, touring exhibition Merseyside Artists 3. Had a solo show at Prescote Gallery, Oxford. Lived for some years at Rainhill, Prescot, near Liverpool.
