London-born landscape artist and lecturer, painting in oils using a Pointillist technique, whose influences included “Soutine, Seurat, Vuillard and Alfred Stockham.” Like Stockham Turner was a member of the RWA, when elected in 2003 becoming its youngest member, living in Bristol. Turner studied foundation art and design at the University of the West of England there, 1990–1, completing his degree in fine art, 1993–6. He lectured on foundation studies at the University part-time, 1998–03. Mixed exhibitions included the RWA from 1994; Laing Landscape Competition, from 1995; Parkview Paintings, Bristol, from 1997; Olympia and Battersea Affordable Art Fairs, both 2001; Innocent Fine Art, Bristol, 2002; and Redrag Gallery, Stow-on-the-Wold, 2004.
