Catherine Gage has been a Director of W. Moorcroft Ltd for over a decade, and undertakes PR, museum and third-party contracts from her home in Cambridge. Qualifying as a solicitor, Catherine now oversees the promotion of Moorcroft on the world stage through joint ventures, exhibitions, licenses, editorials and arranging television and radio slots for the Moorcroft Design studio, including the organising of global PR tours and orchestrating Moorcroft's social media platforms.

A desire to celebrate Moorcroft's place in the applied arts, and to ensure the art pottery's history and sheer craftsmanship and artistry are accessible to all, is a priority for the Director. Catherine, together with the other Directors at Moorcroft, is also a champion of numerous charities that Moorcroft work with from the local Food Bank Charities in Stoke on Trent, where Moorcroft is based, and the Back Dane Trust, as well as working closely with national partners such as the RSPB and the RHS.

Over the last year, Catherine has written content for press publications and magazines, and organised Moorcroft's participation in Women In Art Fair at Mall Galleries, Moorcroft's Emma Bossons' appearance as guest judge on The Great Pottery Throw Down during the penultimate 'Moorcroft' semi-final.
